A Dream That Took Root
Before C&C Landscaping ever existed, there was simply a passion for plants and a vision for something more.
For Cal, landscaping has never been about rushing from job to job or treating plants like objects to be installed and forgotten. It has always been about understanding how landscapes grow, how plants thrive, and how outdoor spaces can become something truly lasting.
Over the years, that passion grew stronger through hands-on work in nurseries, studying horticulture, and learning the craft of landscape installation. What started as an interest slowly turned into a clear vision. One day, Cal would build a landscaping business of his own. A company that focused on doing the work the right way while building something meaningful for the future.
When Cal and his wife Cecilia moved to North Georgia, that vision began to take shape. With the support of family, friends, and the people who believed in the dream, C&C Landscaping was born.
Today, that same passion still drives every project, every plant placed in the ground, and every landscape created for the families and properties they serve.
Meet Cal, Founder of C&C
Cal’s journey into landscaping began long before C&C Landscaping existed. Originally from Illinois, he developed a deep interest in plants and the natural world at an early age. That interest grew into a true passion for horticulture and landscape work.
In 2021, Cal moved to Gainesville, Georgia where he worked with a respected family run nursery and landscape installation company. During that time, he gained valuable hands-on experience working with plants, installing landscapes, and learning the day to day operations of a successful horticulture business.
Driven by his passion for the field, Cal pursued studies in horticulture while continuing to develop the knowledge and experience that would one day shape his own company. His goal was never just to work in landscaping. His goal was to build something of his own and do the work the right way.
In 2024, Cal and Cecilia moved to Tunnel Hill, Georgia. While working as a project manager for one of Chattanooga’s top landscaping companies, Cal began laying the foundation for his own business. What started as a dream slowly turned into reality as C&C Landscaping began taking shape.
Family has played a powerful role throughout that journey. Cecilia, along with Cal’s parents, close friends, and the people who work alongside him, have supported the business in countless ways. Their encouragement, belief, and willingness to help have made it possible for C&C Landscaping to grow into what it is today.
Even though the company is still in its early stages, it is built on years of experience, strong horticultural knowledge, and a genuine passion for creating landscapes that last.

Over the next several years, his goal is to establish a full scale tree nursery that will operate alongside C&C Landscaping’s landscaping services. This nursery will allow the company to grow and source high quality trees and plants while providing clients with plant material carefully selected for the climate and soil conditions of North Georgia and the Chattanooga area.
By pairing a nursery with landscaping services, C&C Landscaping will be able to offer a more complete approach to outdoor spaces. From growing and selecting plants to designing and installing the landscape itself, every step will be guided by the same philosophy of quality and care.
This vision reflects Cal’s lifelong love for plants and his desire to build a business that serves the community for many years to come. As the company grows, the values that started it all remain the same: hard work, honesty, respect for nature, and a genuine passion for creating landscapes that people can enjoy for generations.
